New computer model aims to predict fractures in rare bone disease

Summary

This study is testing a new computer tool called MEKANOS to see if it can better predict when a bone might break in people with Fibrous Dysplasia or McCune-Albright Syndrome. Researchers will take CT scans of the thigh bone and use the tool to calculate its strength. The goal is to improve fracture risk assessment for these rare bone disorders.
