Summary

This study tests whether a school-based program including meals, nutrition education, vegetable gardens, iron supplements, and deworming can reduce anemia and underweight in 14-17 year olds in Tanzania. About 1,500 teens and their mothers will take part over one year. The goal is to improve nutrition and food security in the long term.
