Scientists seek clues in brain tumors to forge future cures
NCT ID NCT07242963
Summary
This study aims to create a collection of medical information and biological samples from patients with a specific type of recurrent brain tumor called SHH medulloblastoma, particularly those with a U1 gene mutation. Researchers will gather data from up to 300 patients and their parents over about 5 years to better understand this mutation and how it affects the disease. The goal is to use this knowledge to design more effective future treatments, though participants will not receive direct medical benefit from being in this study.
