New heart valve offers hope for High-Risk patients with severe aortic stenosis

Summary

This study tests a new heart valve device (Medtronic CoreValve Evolut PRO) in 52 Chinese patients with severe aortic stenosis who are too high-risk for open-heart surgery. The goal is to see if the device is safe and effective at replacing the damaged valve without major surgery. Patients will be monitored for survival and valve function after the procedure.
