First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether eating Medjool dates daily from 34 weeks of pregnancy through delivery increases the chance of labor starting naturally. Researchers will compare 250 women who eat dates with those who don't, looking at need for labor induction, length of labor, and blood loss. The goal is to see if this simple dietary change can improve birth outcomes.
