First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a reduced-calorie Mediterranean diet plus a synbiotic supplement can improve body measurements, blood markers, and quality of life in 32 overweight or obese women with PCOS. Participants will follow the diet for 8 weeks and receive either the supplement or a placebo. The goal is to see if adding the supplement offers extra benefits beyond diet alone.
