Mediterranean diet may boost metabolic health in prostate cancer patients

Summary

This study looks at whether eating a controlled Mediterranean diet before prostate cancer surgery can improve insulin levels and other health markers. About 20 men scheduled for prostate removal will follow this diet for a short time. Researchers will measure changes in blood and tissue samples to see if the diet helps control the disease.
