Summary

This study looked at whether combining a Mediterranean diet with progressive strength training could improve bone density and bone health in people aged 65 and older. Over 12 months, 22 participants followed the diet and exercise program, while 19 did not. The goal was to see if this lifestyle approach could help control age-related bone loss.
