Can a simple meditation ease the fear and pain of endoscopy?
NCT ID NCT07261839
Summary
This study is testing whether a guided meditation can help people feel less anxious, experience less pain, and be more comfortable during an endoscopy. Researchers are enrolling 72 adults who are having their first endoscopy to see if listening to a meditation recording before and during the procedure makes a difference. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to improve the patient experience for this common but often stressful medical test.
