Can cannabis ease the sickness of chemo? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07374939

Summary

This study is testing whether medical cannabis can help reduce nausea in adults receiving chemotherapy that commonly causes severe sickness. About 50 participants will be randomly assigned to start using medical cannabis vapor either immediately or after one chemotherapy cycle, while continuing their usual anti-nausea medications. The goal is to gather early evidence on whether cannabis safely helps manage nausea and related symptoms like poor appetite and fatigue.
