First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new way for people with MED-EL cochlear implants to check their hearing and device from home using an app, instead of going to the clinic. About 50 participants will try the remote check-up to see if it works well, saves time, and reduces costs. The goal is to make follow-up care more convenient for implant users.
