Scientists use 'Magic Water' to track energy burn in ICU patients

Summary
This study aims to better understand how much energy critically ill patients use while in the hospital. Researchers will use a special, non-invasive water test on 50 adult ICU patients to measure their energy burn over time. The goal is to gather more accurate information to help doctors create better, personalized nutrition plans to support patient recovery.
