Study probes how much air patients actually get during CPR

NCT ID NCT06580652

Summary

This study aims to measure the real-world volume of air delivered to the lungs when medical staff manually breathe for a patient during an in-hospital cardiac arrest. It will compare two standard airway devices used in these emergencies. The research involves 30 patients already enrolled in a larger trial and uses a small sensor to measure airflow without interfering with standard care.
