First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether infants and young children with sickle cell disease (SCD) get enough protection from the standard measles vaccine. Researchers will measure antibody levels in 130 children with SCD after they receive their routine measles shots. The goal is to understand if these children respond to the vaccine as expected, not to test a new treatment.
