Scientists probe Measles' hidden immune damage in kids
NCT ID NCT06923631
Summary
This study aims to understand how measles infection affects children's immune systems long-term. Researchers will compare 100 children, some vaccinated and some not, to see if measles causes 'immune amnesia' - where the body forgets how to fight other infections. The study will measure immune cells and antibodies before and after measles infection to determine how long these immune changes last.
