Doctors learn new therapy to help cancer patients find meaning

Summary

This study is training cancer care providers in a special type of talk therapy called Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy (MCP). The goal is to teach clinicians how to help their patients cope with cancer by finding meaning and purpose. Researchers will measure how well the 350 participating clinicians learn and use these new skills over a year.
