Is exercise crash unique to chronic fatigue? study pits it against heart disease
NCT ID NCT07491315
Summary
This study aims to understand if the severe symptom flare-up after exertion, common in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), is specific to that condition. Researchers will compare 80 people with ME/CFS to people with heart disease, both groups undergoing a standard exercise test. They will track symptoms before, during, and for a week after the test to see if the patterns differ between the two illnesses.
