Can a simple blood test predict survival in bone marrow disorder?

NCT ID NCT07210034

Summary

This study aims to see if certain patterns in routine blood tests can help predict how patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) will fare. Researchers will look back at the medical records of 100 adults with MDS to check if scores based on blood protein and cell levels are linked to how long patients live and their risk of developing leukemia. The goal is to find simple, low-cost ways to better understand a patient's outlook to help guide their care.
