Searching for a crystal ball: can simple blood tests better predict MDS survival?
NCT ID NCT07210034
Summary
This study aims to find better ways to predict how patients with Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), a type of bone marrow disorder, will fare over time. Researchers will look at 100 patients' medical records to see if new combinations of simple blood test results, like the HALP score, can more accurately forecast survival and the risk of developing leukemia. The goal is to gather knowledge to help doctors make more personalized treatment decisions in the future.
