First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of five oral drugs can effectively treat multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in shorter treatment periods (16 to 40 weeks) compared to standard longer regimens. About 271 participants with MDR-TB will receive one of four treatment durations. The goal is to find a safe, effective, and shorter treatment that is easier for patients to complete.
