First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study is an add-on to a larger Phase 3 trial testing MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD. Researchers collected saliva from 45 participants before and after treatment to see if the therapy changes how stress-related genes are regulated. The goal is to understand whether these genetic changes are linked to improvements in PTSD symptoms.
