New heart scan could spare patients unnecessary procedures

NCT ID NCT07341932

First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive heart scan called magnetocardiography (MCG) can help doctors decide the best treatment for people with stable coronary artery disease. About 1,300 participants will be split into two groups: one where treatment is guided by MCG results, and another where standard methods are used. The goal is to see if MCG reduces unnecessary invasive procedures, improves quality of life, and lowers healthcare costs.
