NCT ID NCT07181928

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares two treatments for teens aged 12-19 with disruptive behavior disorders like oppositional defiant disorder or conduct disorder. One group gets mentalization-based therapy (MBT), which helps teens understand their own and others' thoughts and feelings. The other group gets standard psychiatric care plus extra emotion-focused training for parents. The goal is to see which approach works better at reducing symptoms and aggression.
