First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a type of talk therapy called Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) can help young people at high risk for psychosis avoid developing the condition. Researchers will compare MBT plus standard care to standard care alone in 212 participants aged 14-30. The goal is to see if MBT reduces psychotic symptoms and prevents transition to full psychosis.
