First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests if mentalization-based therapy (MBT) is better than standard care plus parent training for teens aged 12-19 with disruptive behavior disorders. MBT helps teens reflect on thoughts and feelings that drive actions. The goal is to reduce aggressive behavior and improve symptoms. 90 teens will be randomly assigned to either MBT or enhanced usual care.
