Summary
This study looks at how two blood conditions—monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis (MBL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)—affect the bone marrow's ability to fight infections. Researchers will compare bone marrow samples from 50 participants, including people with MBL, people with CLL, and healthy adults of similar age. No treatments are tested; the goal is simply to understand how these conditions change the body's infection defenses.
