Summary
This study is testing a new oral medication, MB-001, for adults with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (UC). About 100 participants will take either the drug or a placebo pill daily for 12 weeks to see if it safely reduces symptoms and intestinal inflammation. The goal is to see if this new treatment can help control the disease in people who haven't gotten enough relief from other available therapies.
