Family link study for rare vein condition scrapped before start
NCT ID NCT05409781
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study planned to check how common May-Thurner syndrome is in first-degree relatives (parents, siblings, children) of people already diagnosed with the condition. Researchers would have used ultrasound imaging to look for the vein compression that defines the syndrome. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
