Summary
This study tested two different dental expanders in 30 teenagers aged 15-18 who needed their upper molars moved backward to correct a Class II bite. One device was a self-activated Leaf Expander and the other a conventional Hyrax Expander, both anchored to the jawbone. The goal was to see which one worked better and caused fewer side effects.
