First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a combination of ibuprofen and acetaminophen (Maxigesic) before surgery can lower the amount of strong opioid painkiller (remifentanil) needed during the operation. About 96 adults aged 19-60 having general anesthesia will take part. The goal is to see if this approach leads to safer, more effective pain control with fewer opioid-related side effects.
