Summary

This early-phase study tests whether the drug mavoglurant can help heavy drinkers with Alcohol Use Disorder reduce their cravings and alcohol consumption. Researchers will measure changes in the number of drinks consumed and craving levels using a simple questionnaire. The study involves 63 adults aged 21-50 who drink heavily but are otherwise healthy.
