First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the drug mavacamten can make it safe for people with a type of thickened heart muscle (hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy) to do moderate exercise. About 24 adults already stable on mavacamten will either join a supervised 6-week exercise program or continue usual care. The main goal is to check safety, and researchers will also measure changes in fitness, heart function, and quality of life.
