Summary
This study looks at whether adding working memory training to math tutoring helps first graders at risk for math disabilities learn better. About 300 children will be placed into one of three groups: math tutoring plus memory training, math tutoring plus reading practice, or regular school math. The goal is to see if memory training improves math skills and if math learning also boosts memory.
