Mood and milk: the hidden link between Mom's depression and Baby's first foods
NCT ID NCT06231602
Summary
This study aims to understand the connection between a mother's depression during and after pregnancy and how she feeds her baby. Researchers will follow 500 first-time mothers, asking them to complete surveys four times from pregnancy until their baby is six months old. The goal is to learn if depression affects feeding choices like breastfeeding, and if feeding difficulties can also impact a mother's mood.
