Gentle touch tested to help tiny babies grow and feel calmer
NCT ID NCT06204146
Summary
This study tested whether giving gentle massage to preterm babies in the hospital helps them grow better and feel less stressed. Researchers worked with 60 preterm infants. One group received massage three times a day for 10 days, while the other group received standard hospital care. The team measured the babies' weight, length, and stress levels before and after the massage period to see if there was a difference.
