First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested whether a neck massage program, based on a caring model, could help people with epilepsy feel more confident managing their condition, reduce symptoms, and lighten the load on their caregivers. Researchers divided 96 adults with epilepsy into two groups: one received massage three times a week for eight weeks, while the other did not. They measured changes in self-efficacy, symptom burden, and caregiver stress using standard questionnaires.
