NCT ID NCT06922149
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether adding functional massage to eccentric exercises (like slow lowering movements) helps reduce muscle stiffness and improve leg movement in people who had a stroke at least 6 months ago. Eight adults participated, and the treatment was given at a university clinic. The goal was to see if the combination works better than exercise alone for easing spasticity and improving walking and quality of life.
