Can a special massage technique unlock relief for stubborn back pain?

NCT ID NCT07462832

Summary

This study aims to see if adding a specific type of massage, called connective tissue massage, to a standard exercise program provides more relief for people with long-term low back pain. It will involve 40 adults who have had pain for at least six months. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real massage plus exercise or a fake 'sham' massage plus exercise over eight weeks to compare the effects on pain, movement, and quality of life.
