First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at why breast and colorectal cancer survivors may be at higher risk for a common liver condition called MASLD (fatty liver disease). Researchers will use painless scans and blood tests to check for liver damage in 200 survivors. The goal is to find better ways to detect liver problems early, so they can be treated before they become serious.
