New alert system aims to catch liver damage early in primary care

Summary
This study tests a new computer alert that pops up in the electronic health record to remind doctors to check for liver scarring in patients with fatty liver disease. About 225 adults with fatty liver disease will take part. The goal is to see if the alert helps doctors find advanced liver scarring earlier and improve care.
