Summary

This phase 3 trial tests whether masitinib, a drug that targets immune cells in the brain, can help people with mild Alzheimer's when added to their current treatment. About 600 participants will receive either masitinib or a placebo for 24 weeks. The study measures changes in thinking skills and daily activities to see if the drug slows decline.
