First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to deliver radiation therapy for head and neck cancer using an MRI machine built into the radiation device. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce severe dry mouth, a common and lasting side effect. About 49 adults with certain head and neck cancers will receive this advanced treatment, and researchers will track how many develop significant dry mouth afterward.
