Can training stop marijuana stores from selling to drunk drivers?
NCT ID NCT06235632
Summary
This study aims to prevent car crashes and other harms by stopping marijuana stores from selling to customers who are already drunk. Researchers will test a program in Oregon that trains store staff to recognize signs of intoxication and refuse sales, combined with efforts to remind stores of the state law. They will measure if the training works by sending actors pretending to be drunk to try and buy marijuana.
