Summary
This study tests whether a special imaging agent called 18F-FPyCO/SMBT-1 can help diagnose Parkinson's disease and related conditions by detecting a brain enzyme called MAO-B. About 200 adults with suspected or confirmed Parkinson's will receive a single injection of the agent and undergo PET/CT or MRI scans. The goal is to see how well the scans identify disease-related changes in the brain.
