First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether manual therapy (hands-on treatment) and exercises can reduce orofacial pain in wind musicians. 40 musicians who played metal or woodwind instruments and had face pain during practice took part. The researchers compared manual therapy alone versus manual therapy plus exercises to see which worked better for pain relief.
