Hands-On help for stiff necks: new study tests manual therapy
NCT ID NCT07494734
First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding manual therapy (hands-on techniques) to standard physical therapy can reduce pain and improve daily life for people with chronic neck pain lasting at least three months. About 30 adults aged 18-65 will receive 10 treatment sessions over 5 weeks. Researchers will measure pain, neck movement, disability, and quality of life to see if the combined approach works better than physical therapy alone.
