New hope for aggressive lymphoma: experimental drug combo enters spanish trial

Summary
This study is testing whether adding the drug acalabrutinib to standard R-CHOP chemotherapy works better for people newly diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma. The trial will enroll about 55 adults in Spain who haven't had prior cancer treatments and aren't candidates for stem cell transplant. Participants will receive the drug combination, followed by ongoing acalabrutinib maintenance therapy to control the cancer long-term.
