First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how fast or slow dentists should drill when placing a single tooth implant in the lower jaw. Thirty-nine adults will get an implant using one of three low speeds (50, 150, or 300 rpm) without water cooling. Researchers will check bone levels and implant stability over 12 months to see which speed leads to better healing.
