Summary
This study tested whether creating mandala art could help women with gynecologic cancers feel less anxious and more emotionally capable around the time of their surgery. Researchers randomly assigned 84 patients to either do mandala painting or receive standard care. They measured changes in anxiety, emotional confidence, and overall psychological well-being to see if the art activity provided meaningful relief.
