Coloring books calm NICU Moms' nerves
NCT ID NCT06499259
Summary
This study tested whether a simple mandala coloring activity could help reduce stress and anxiety in mothers whose newborn babies were hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Researchers enrolled 72 mothers and had half of them complete a 40-minute coloring session daily for 7 days, while the other half received no special activity. The goal was to see if this creative, focused task could provide emotional relief during a very difficult time.
